Joseph Izgi

Before joining the legal profession, Mr. Izgi worked for many years as a (senior) public prosecutor within various departments of the Public Prosecution Service, such as CVOM Utrecht, OM Oost-Nederland, ZSM Deventer and Veiligheidshuis Twente. Mr. Izgi then continued his career for years as a (senior) court lawyer with the criminal law section at the courts of Midden-Nederland (Utrecht) and Overijssel (Almelo).

In these various positions, Mr. Izgi gained a broad knowledge of criminal law. At the Public Prosecutor's Office and at the District Court, Mr. Izgi has worked closely with prosecutors and judges to prepare for court hearings. Mr. Izgi has written many verdicts for the three-judge panel, but also for the police court and the juvenile court. Mr. Izgi knows better than anyone how a criminal case is looked at from different angles and can therefore defend your case and legal interests to the fullest extent possible.

Mr. Izgi focuses primarily on the practice of community criminal law. Mr. Izgi also assists victims in criminal cases. In addition, Mr. Izgi deals with the general legal practice of asylum and immigration law.
